Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl remake might be happening

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were already remade by Gamefreak so why not Pokemon Diamond and Pearl?

[dropcap size=small]L[/dropcap]ast week Gamefreak dropped a new teaser trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon showing off several new exciting Pokemon. Yet, many fans didn’t find the announcement of new Pokemon quite as exciting as Gamefreak allegedly announcing that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl would be the next remake.

According to The Inquisitr, The Pokemon Company has left hidden clues pointing towards the company’s next remake and fans have spotted several of these clues ever since details for Pokemon Sun and Moon were released online. One clue is the background for the Team Skull members are sky blue and pink which coincidently matches the colors of the Pokemon on the cover of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

One of the most convincing clues that point towards a Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake involves the island of Alola, which is based on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Both Alola and Oahu have two very distinct similarities, the first being a marina and the second being a volcano. The marina on Oahu island goes by the name of Pearl Harbor and the volcano on Oahu goes by the name of Diamond Head. Have you noticed the reference yet?

Maybe we just really miss Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and are making connections where there aren’t any. But then again, you can’t deny that the mounting evidence points towards a new remake. With Pokemon Sun and Moon to be released in one month exactly would it really be that bad for The Pokemon Company to release another remake shortly afterward?

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released on November 18th.
