The show usually puts two complete strangers together to survive with only one item of their choosing, the elements, and each other. Each contestant on the show receives a ‘Primitive Survival Rating’ based on their survival knowledge, fitness level, and mental toughness. Most of the contestants have some sort of outdoorsy knowledge to begin with, but one is usually significantly more adept at survival than the other.
Seth Rogen and James Franco will be doing an episode of the hit show as publicity for the upcoming Christmas Day release of ‘The Interview‘.
Needless to say, it will be even more entertaining watching these two actors/friends cope with the difficulties they’ll be facing and see if they can survive the entire 21 day survival period.
