Resident Evil’s HD Remaster Is on the Way

It’s certainly suspicious that Resident Evil Remastered gets announced during this whole “Ebola virus outbreak.

1703067Anyway, Capcom is remastering the 2002 GameCube remake of, the original, Resident Evil. The company states that there will be updated sound and graphics, with no “unnecessary” changes made to the game. Slated for an early 2015 release stateside, the game will be available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Japan will be getting the game on November 27th 2014, slightly earlier. Another feature is the dual control scheme, with the option to use classic controls or the newer control scheme. The newer controls will allow the character to move in the same direction as the analog stick. Groundbreaking.

Resident Evil is developed and published by Capcom. Resident Evil Remastered (tentative title?) is releasing for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on November 27th in Japan, and early 2015 in the U.S.
