After the massive internet backlash from the initial trailer that shows off Sonic in his fully revealed design, fans will be pleased to hear that director Jeff Fowler (who has never directed a movie before, save for a single short film in 2004), has taken to social media to recognize the opportunity for change.

Remarkably, fans such as Edward Pun here, have designed an incredibly improved version of Sonic in just a matter of hours after the trailer’s release. Just goes to show that regardless of your views on the character, there is always room for (significant) improvement.
