Call of Duty developers drag-on some new features to the new zombies mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is coming out with it’s newest DLC in July and it’s said to incorporate some pretty crazy new features for the fan favorite zombie game mode. Titled Descent, the DLC is to expand the zombie gameplay by taking a page out of the Game of Thrones plot by allowing players to fight zombies and dragons in the new map. In the new DLC, players will experience a new Zombies mission, “Gorod Krovi” that integrates the Soviet Union during the mid 1940’s. In this specific game mode, players will battle undying mechanical zombies while simultaneously dodging dragon-fire from the air…sounds like hell mode to me. Lucky enough, their will be new weapons, obviously the added new enemies, as well as some new gameplay features for the difficult game mode. A sneak peak of the DLC can be viewed below.

Descent will also include some other new maps for the multiplayer game modes as well. These currently include: Empire, described as a Roman villa inspired by the COD:BO2 map, Raid; Cryogen, surprise, a cryogenic prison facility located in the middle of the Dead Sea; Berserk, another snow-filled map in a village type setting; and Rumble, my personal favorite that is claimed to take place in a battle arena inhabited by fallen robots. Most of the maps seem pretty original, but time will tell if the COD DLC will bring some much needed new features. Playstation 4 users only have to wait until July 12 for the new features, with the PC and XBox version coming at an unspecified date.
