The summer is here and with that comes another radical sale over on Valve’s Steam platform. Beginning today and running through July 7th until 10:00a PST, you will be able to snag some truly incredible titles for potentially massive discounts through the two-week-long Steam Summer Sale.

The list of games is certainly too long to lay out for you here but to give you an idea of what you may have to look forward to, here are some great deals that may interest you.

  • Hitman III: -60% down from $59.99 to $23.99 USD
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: -50% down from $59.99 to $29.99
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo: -50% down from $59.99 to $29.99
  • Dying Light 2: -33% down from $59.99 to $39.99

Now, you may be saying to yourself, I already have all these. What else is there? Well, if you have Steam, you know that your gaming history creates curated sections and store recommendations that can introduce you to titles you may never have noticed. Be sure to check those out as well so you don’t miss out on some great titles that may include popular indie games.

At the time of this writing, these are the Top Sellers that could be of interest to you:

  • Steam Deck (Hardware / Handheld Gaming Device): $399.99 USD
  • Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: -20% down from $59.99 to $47.99
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: -29% down from $69.99 to $46.99

Author’s Note: The pricing for the FFVII Remake looks like total bullshit. I get that the $69.99 price reflects the PS5 pricing that it came out with originally but you can find the game for PS5 cheaper than that. Plus, this is a digital title and should not be marked up that high. If I had to guess, they listed the game at that insanely high price since it just released on Steam over the last couple of weeks, just because they knew the Summer Sale was coming and could mark it down an unusually odd 29% and sell it for $46.99. I will bet you it goes on sale for $49.99 permanently very shortly after the SSS.

  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: -50% down from $59.99 to $29.99
  • God of War (2018): -20% down from $49.99 to $39.99
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III: -67% down from $59.99 to $19.79

Author’s Note: Another bullshit price. Activision’s greed with CoD titles on Steam has been ridiculous for years. This game is worth $12.99 tops, but it isn’t likely we will see this low of a price for it until another sale and even that is a gamble. If you want it, get it because it may never see this low of a price tag again.

There are plenty of titles to choose from so don’t rush on over and make a hasty purchase. Pick a title you have been waiting on or support some indie developers and pick up their early titles and see what it’s all about. You have about two weeks to make up your mind.
