Rumor has it that the Dark Knight will be making a surprise appearance in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.
[dropcap size=small]B[/dropcap]en Affleck flew into Toronto two weeks ago and while it could be that the new Bruce Wayne is sight-seeing, that hardly seems to be the case. Toronto is the current location where Suicide Squad has begun filming recently. Keeping in mind that the cast for Suicide Squad is filled with characters from the Dark Knight’s comic book history, such as Jared Leto’s Joker, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, and Will Smith’s Deadshot among others, it would be safe to assume that Mr. Affleck will be making an appearance in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.
What kind of role Mr. Affleck will be playing in the Suicide Squad is completely unknown at this point. It could be that the caped crusader is connected to Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller? It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have Batman as back up in case the world’s most dangerous supervillians break free. Or maybe he has some kind of role to play with Jared Leto’s Joker? Who knows what Mr. Affleck is doing in Suicide Squad, but you can be sure that his role in the film will have a significant impact on the story.
In addition to the rumors surrounding Ben Affleck making an appearance in the Suicide Squad, there are rumors that Jesse Eisenberg could be making an appearance in the film as well. Jesse Eisenberg, famous for his role in films such as Zombieland and The Social Network, could be reprising his role as Lex Luthor in the Suicide Squad. The idea of Lex Luthor being in the film could work, but its hard to see where he would fit in with the story line of Suicide Squad. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what David Ayer will release on his Twitter account next.
Suicide Squad appears in theaters August 5th, 2016.
