Here’s the “official leak.”
The first trailer for Activision and Platinum Game’s new TMNT game, Mutants in Manhattan has arrived.
Check it out below.
To say we knew about this game before the official trailer dropped would be an understatement.
Numerous leaks plagued the announcement of this game, including the Australian Classifications Board outing the title, leaked screenshots, and this trailer itself even leaking last night.
Regardless of these leaks, we finally have official confirmation that this game is coming, and it looks pretty rad.
Mutants in Manhattan is a Beat ’em up Brawler where the player can choose between the four Turtles to take down classic foes like Bebop, Rocksteady, and Shredder.
The game will feature local and online cooperative play for up to four player choosing between Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael.
Besides the combo-based gameplay, the game sports a cel-shaded art style reminiscent of the Eastman and Laird comic series, where the Turtles originate from.
Despite the bevy of leaks, we have high hopes for this game. The graphics, gameplay and Platinum’s high pedigree of work, including last year’s great Transformers: Devastation, all point to the Half Shell Heroes hopefully making a triumphant return to gaming.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will release this summer for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
