Jessica Jones is a badass, Ratchet and Clank are perfect, and we learn that Pride and Prejudice is 100 times better when the undead are involved.
Jessica Jones
This right here was the trailer that a lot of people have been waiting for. Jessica Jones is Marvel’s sophomore stab at a Netflix series and it looks amazing. The show follows the title character, Jessica Jones, and her journey to try and leave the life of superheroing behind her and restart her life as a private investigator. This does not work out so well for Jones as a man from her past, Kilgrave, who can control the minds of others, comes back into her life to wreak havoc. Jones will receive help from Luke Cage, another popular Marvel superhero in her quest to rid her life of Kilgrave.
Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter, David Tennant, Mike Colter, and Rachel Taylor and hits Netflix on November 20th.
Ratchet and Clank
One of gaming’s best dynamic duos finally hits the big screen and the first trailer looks fantastic. Ratchet and Clank follows Ratchet and his quest to become part of the Galactic Rangers. He meets Clank the robot and the two must team up, with the help of the Galactic Rangers, to stop the evil Chairman Drek from destroying every planet in their galaxy.
Ratchet and Clank stars James Arnold Taylor, David Kaye, Jim Ward, Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Bella Thorne, Rosario Dawson, Sylvester Stallone, and Armin Shimerman and hits theaters April 29th, 2016.
Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies
Everyone knows Pride and Prejudice; you probably read it in high school but ended up looking through summaries on the internet to avoid actually reading it. But it would have been a bit more interesting if there was some zombie killing action thrown in with the 19th century English boredom. Based on the 2009 book of the same name, Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies is exactly what the title suggests. It takes Jane Austen’s classic story about the relationship of two lovers from different social classes and throws in some undead to spice of the story.
Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance, and Lena Headey and hits theaters February 5th, 2016.
