Character forms from the upcoming Resurrection ‘F’ make their way to S.H. Figuarts.
The highly-detailed, and very expensive toy line from Tamashii, FUNimation, and S.H. Figuarts are seeing an expanding market of Dragon Ball fans and collectors snatching up every figure that comes into publication, the latest is the blue-haired Super Saiyan God form Goku takes on against Frieza, who gets a golden form of his own.
No word on whether or not we get the same treatment for Vegeta, but fingers crossed. Presumably if not in the works already, the Super Saiyan God/Prince of ALL Saiyans will likely follow if these figures do well. Take a look at the awesome promo photos below.
The collectible figures will be available in October of this year, though no specific date has been shared. Furthermore, while most S.H. Figuarts collectibles are available for pre-order, this option is not currently available, though it should be soon.
The next figures to be available are re-releases of both Super Saiyan Gohan and Super Saiyan Goku, both of which are going for about $27.00 USD – $35.00 USD for their pre-orders, both of which will be available soon. Following those will be Vegetto, which comes in his base and Super Saiyan forms, currently around $40.00-$50.00 USD, though this one is expected to sell out fast and sky-rocket in price shortly after its initial release.
Bluefin and eKnight are both great places to explore some of the existing and future releases, though figures like Trunks and Super Saiyan Vegeta fetch about $400.00 online due to their popularity and scarce availability and are only available on places like eBay and perhaps Amazon.
A con-exclusive Super Saiyan Goku sees about $700-$800 USD as well. It’s an expensive hobby to be sure, but if you can get your hands on them early, you can save yourself some MASSIVE coin.
There are plenty of other characters who have gotten the artistic figure treatment already, including Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Broly, the Androids, and many more. You can get a good look at them on the S.H. Figuarts Facebook page and hopefully track down the one(s) you want. You had better not wait, as the longer you do, the more expensive they get.
