One of the best games ever made for the N64 gets a brand-new look! “I have tried to get it as realistic as possible.”

[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]ince it’s release in 2014, Unreal Engine 4 has made a lot of characters and games look amazing. Jude Wilson, an environment artist student from Sheffield University, recreated The Facility, a part of the game. Even though it’s only one part of the game, it looks amazing! Wilson recreated The Facility for an assignment to complete her Master’s degree program.

“I have combined the N64’s original layout with the films’ look and feel using Unreal Engine 4,” Wilson wrote in the video’s description (via NeoGAF). “I have tried to get it as realistic as possible, using the films interiors, props, and lighting, but remaining true to the original game at the same time.”

Wilson showed that all the assets that were used to create the game were made from scratch, using 3DS Max, Marmoset Toolbag 2, Photoshop, nDo2, Substance Designer, and Unreal Engine 4.

More of Wilson’s work can be found here!
