The official Fortnite Twitter account shared a link to their official YouTube channel which shows a countdown to the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Super crossover event. The event, which is said to last seven weeks, kicks off tomorrow and fans are losing their absolute sh*t over it.

What is crazy about this crossover is not just the fact that it is happening but that Epic Games and the official Fortnite accounts across social media have been extremely tight-lipped about what it entails. However, despite that being the case, data-miners and leakers have done a bunch of digging to tell us what this event has in store for us, much of which is still a complete mystery.

We have covered at length what leakers have been able to dig up and find out but we still do not know what skins are coming to the game or what they could possibly even look like. However, we assume the designs will be cel-shaded like the Naruto crossover with Goku and Vegeta being at least two available skins. Whether they have to be earned or bought in the item shop is still unknown.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is coming to theaters this week in North America beginning on August 19th. We were lucky enough to see it at a special Crunchyroll event and can’t stress enough how badly you need to see it in theaters. We assume that this Fortnite crossover is meant to coincide with the film’s release so expect to see at least some references to the movie.
We are really looking forward to Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super, even if it will be weird seeing Goku holding a shotgun or Vegeta using an Assault Rifle. Regardless, this is one battle royale event we definitely do not want to miss.
