Minecraft x Dragon Ball Z is Out Now

Players can choose from nearly twenty iconic DBZ heroes and villains, including Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Trunks

Toei Animation, the studio behind Dragon Ball Z, has teamed up with Minecraft to unleash a crossover so chaotic it practically yells its own name. Starting today, Dragon Ball Z officially joins the world of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition with a brand-new DLC pack that fuses Saiyan combat with cube-shaped charm.

This isn’t your standard “new skin pack” nonsense. Players are getting a full-on Dragon Ball Z experience — complete with playable fighters, recognizable arenas, and special attacks powerful enough to send your Redstone contraptions into another dimension.

Every adventure kicks off at Kami’s Temple, specifically inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Here, players can choose from nearly twenty iconic DBZ heroes and villains, including Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Bulma, and Trunks. Each character comes locked and loaded with signature moves like the Kamehameha, Galick Gun, Ki Blast, and Final Flash (yes, you can finally vaporize your friends in a block world. It’s canon now).

Once you’ve chosen your fighter, it’s time to throw down in one of several legendary arenas pulled straight from Dragon Ball Z’s greatest hits — the Cell Games, Planet Namek, and Gizard Wasteland all make their Minecraft debut. Whether you’re going solo, fighting alongside friends in co-op, or testing your might in chaotic 5v5 matches, expect plenty of energy beams, flying blocks, and general over-the-top nonsense.

Need a break from all the cosmic-level smackdowns? Head to Capsule Corporation, the chill hub where you can cool off before inevitably going Super Saiyan again. It’s a nice touch — even heroes need a breather (and maybe a Senzu Bean).

To complete the fantasy, the DLC also comes with a Dragon Ball Z skin pack, letting you stay in character even outside of battle. And for a limited time, players can grab a free Scouter Character Creator item — because what’s the point of fighting someone if you can’t immediately yell, “It’s over 9000!” first?

Two worlds, one ridiculous fusion. Goku’s spirit meets Steve’s shovel. The result? A blocky brawl for the ages — and one more reason you’ll never escape the endless grind for XP.
