Bungie announced today a great deal regarding the future of Destiny 2 after their recent separation from Blizzard/Activision. The finale of such partnership appears to be ending this fall, when the game will officially leave Battle.net and find a new home on Valve’s Steam store for the first time.

New Nightmares have emerged from the shadows of our forgotten Moon. Called forth by haunting visions from her tormented past, Eris Morn has returned and unleashed something that once slumbered beneath the lunar surface – a long dormant power even she cannot control.

Although it probably needs to be made clear that you can just pre-order the game on Steam for now, since it won’t be playable until September 17 of this year. Either grab the $34.99 standard edition or grab the $59.99 Digital Deluxe Edition and get all sorts of pre-order bonuses.
