Sh*t just got real.
It’s been a long road, but Bad Boys 3 is happening…It’s just going to take a little bit longer though.
Variety reports that the third entry in the Will Smith/Martin Lawrence buddy cop series has received a new title: Bad Boys Forever. Additionally, the film has been pushed back from June 2017 to January 2018.
Bad Boys Forever has been in development for sometime, as the second movie in the series came out all the way back in 2003. Last summer it was rumored that Joe Carnahan (The Grey) was gearing up to direct the film, and earlier this year, it was confirmed Carnahan would indeed helm the film, and that Smith and Lawrence would return.

The film was initially set for a February 2017 release, and then June 2, but this recent push was most likely done to avoid competition with Wonder Woman, and give Smith time to film the upcoming Netflix project Bright.
With both stars returning, and Michael Bay not, we’re interested to see what the Bad Boys are gonna do when they come for you. Bad Boys Bad Boys.
I am so sorry.
Bad Boys Forever hits theaters on January 12 2018.
