With Callum Lynch going back to the Spanish Revolution, this makes a lot of sense!
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hen shooting Assassin’s Creed, all of the historical scenes were shot in Spanish, which is why there will be Spanish subtitles in those parts of the movie.
“I just love the fact [production company] New Regency embraced it,” director Justin Kurzel explains in the new issue of Total Film magazine. “We did play around with English as well, but it was really obvious what you wanted as soon as you went back and started speaking beautiful Spanish. It really adds an exoticness and richness to the film.”
One of the more interesting parts of the trailer was seeing the animus and the robot arm controlling Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender.) There is a report that came out, saying that the robot arm could possibly appear in future Assassin’s Creed games. The arm looks to help his companions at the lab see his movements when he goes back to the Spanish Revolution, no matter what they are.
There looks to be plenty of action and perhaps the biggest part of the movie will be the ‘Leap of Faith’ that Lynch will take either once or multiple times during the movie. Either way, this movie is highly anticipated and will draw a huge crowd, with the potential to break records, even with the amount of success that movies like Captain America: Civil War and Suicide Squad are having at the box office.
Assassin’s Creed will be released to theaters on December 21, 2016!
