[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Assassin’s Creed Movie, starring Michael Fassbender, has officially entered production and will begin shooting soon, well ahead of its December 2016 release.
Details on the plot still remain scarce, though Fassbender said that they wanted the film to be respectful to the game franchise, while at the same time they, “want to bring new elements to it and perhaps our own vision of things that already exist in the game.”
The movie is being produced by New Regency and 20th Century Fox and will be directed by Justin Kurzel. The movie is set for release December 21, 2016.
