Sweet, sweet justice…

[dropcap size=small]U[/dropcap]K police reported today that the arrest of an 18 year old UK resident was made today in connection to the DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks PSN and XBL suffered starting on Christmas Day. The unnamed English resident was arrested and is being held on charges of unauthorized access to computer material, unauthorized access with intent to commit further offenses, and “threats to kill”. The Thames Valley Police confirmed that this individual is also suspected of at least one act of ‘swatting’ which involves the perpetrator making a false emergency call to the police and causing a SWAT team to surround the house of an unsuspecting victim.

While a supposed group of miscreants (whose name shall be quickly forgotten and not mentioned here) claimed responsibility for the Christmas Day Attacks, there is no connection between that group and the individual arrested today. However, one of the aforementioned group was arrested earlier this month on unrelated charges.

We will keep you up to date on all developments regarding the justice being served to those who ruined the enjoyment of millions. Godspeed.
