[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter releasing a Japanese reveal trailer for Final Fantasy XV in September at Tokyo Game Show, publisher Square Enix has now re-released the trailer with English voiceovers. Have a look at the new trailer blow.
FFXV will receive a playable a demo in March 2015 and will be packaged with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, the next-gen port of the PSP title released in 2011. However, the demo will be limited, as it will only be available for users who pre-order FF Type-O HD. Square Enix product marketing manager Scott Strichart even took it one step further and elaborated on the exclusivity of the demo:
“We’re never going to release it as a stand-alone piece down the line. Secondly, it’s intended to be a special gift for those of you who purchase early–the demo will be limited to the ‘Day One’ edition of the game, meaning that only the first shipment is going to have the demo in it.”
Square Enix clearly isn’t messing around. So pre-order, pre-order, pre-order. Are you going to be one of the first players to experience FFXV? Let us know in the comments!
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 17, and Final Fantasy XV‘s release date is still TBA. Stay tuned.
