Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and now Ultra Instinct?

The highly-anticipated Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super event starts tomorrow and fans around the world are counting down the minutes until they can jump into the popular battle royale and transform into a Super Saiyan while gliding down Shenron. And thanks to a fresh leak of the trailer, we have a good idea as to what all that looks like. Take a look below:

In the video above, you can see a lot of what is to be expected in the event which includes Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta and Goku firing energy beams at each other, Flying Nimbus, Saiyan Space Pod (attack balls), and Shenron gliders, a Capsule Corp building, and even a big screen theater showing what looks like Dragon Ball Super episodes. But that’s not all, the trailer also shows what appears to be Dende’s Lookout, Kame House, and other Capsule Corp locations.

It appears that both Goku and Vegeta will be able to transform into standard Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue through exclusive emotes but Goku is also shown to have a shirtless silver-haired transformation in his Ultra Instinct form.

The trailer also shows that players will be able to equip a Kamehameha Wave attack/weapon/ability that can be fired continuously while completely obliterating buildings and other destructible objects in their path.

SKINS

As previously suspected, Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma are your four Dragon Ball Super skins that will be a part of this collaboration. However, we would be absolutely shocked if more weren’t coming later either in the item shop or further down into the seven-week-long event. The likes of Gohan, Piccolo, Broly, and others all stand to appear in the game somehow considering the event coincides with the release of Super Hero this weekend.

This Dragon Ball Super event looks incredible and we could not be more excited to jump into the Battle Royale and get some eliminations as a Super Saiyan. It sounds crazy just typing that.
