34 years after the original, Maverick is back and flying planes like a pro. This time around, Peter “Maverick” Mitchell is the flight instructor for Top Gun and becomes a mentor to the son of Goose, who tragically died in the first flick. Goose’s son Bradley (played by Miles Teller), wants nothing more than to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Calling it now- Maverick dies and Bradley becomes the new Top Gun and gets his own franchise.
