The next major installment in the Street Fighter franchise has been announced and will arrive on game consoles and PC next year. And when it arrives, you will have 18 playable characters, both old and new, in the roster at launch. Here they are:

- Chun-Li
- Cammy
- Dee Jay
- Dhalsim
- E. Honda
- Guile
- Jamie
- JP
- Juri
- Kimberly
- Lily
- Luke
- Manon
- Marisa
- Zangief
In addition to these 18 characters, you will have a 19th option in the form of a custom character you can make for yourself in the World Tour game mode. Of course, we expect a bunch of other characters to join the roster in DLCs and other events like crossovers and stuff later but no official word on any of that as we are just speculating at this point.
While you eagerly wait to blast Hadoukens at your opponents (we don’t play Street Fighter much), you can sign up for a Closed Beta Test by going [here]. The Beta will go live from October 7th – October 10th and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.

Street Fighter 6 does not have an official release date but will arrive in 2023 for PS4|PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
