One-Punch Man follows Saitama, an immensely powerful hero capable of defeating any foe with a single punch, who has become bored and disillusioned by his strength.
The series began as a viral web comic, and was subsequently remade into a ongoing manga beginning in 2012. Since then, it has become immensely popular with the anime adaptation, which launched in Japan last fall, and was dubbed for American audiences on Toonami beginning in July.
With subversive themes, fluid animation, and a killer rock soundtrack, the One-Punch Man anime has been lauded by critics, and we loved it too. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Saitama.
We’ll let you know when more details on One-Punch Man season two are revealed.
