Earlier today, director James Gunn answered a question in regards to a possible Nathan Fillion cameo in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy:
So it turns out that the rumors (rumours if you’re British) of Nathan Fillion appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy are true. As to how Rick Castle fits into the story, that still remains unclear.
I guess Fillion’s character Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly would make the most sense for a “small fun cameo,” however, he could just be playing a new random character altogether. Part of me really wants it to be Captain Hammer from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog though.
Wouldn’t that be great?
I guess we’ll have to wait until August 1st to find out for sure.
