Jeffrey Dean Morgan will make his first appearance as Negan during the mid-season finale.
[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]or a while now there have been numerous rumors regarding who will be cast for one of the most brutal and terrorizing characters in The Walking Dead. Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter‘s un-named sources, the wait is now over and it appears that Mr. Morgan will play the role of Negan.
Negan first appeared in the 100th issue of Image Comics’ The Walking Dead when he crossed paths with Rick and his party members. He famously carries around a baseball bat covered in barbed wire, which he affectionately calls by the name of “Lucille”. In the comics, Negan brutally murders one of Rick’s most popular party members and he makes The Governor look just as harmless as a kitten. Just how long Negan will be a part of The Walking Dead remains to be seen, but you can be sure that he is one character no one will forget.
