Get out your diaries J.K. Rowling fans!
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]e’ve had cast reveals and on-set photo unveiling’s for the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In fact, we’ve had just about everything so far except for a trailer.
So when can we expect one?
Well, the answer is very soon indeed.
This announcement trailer from Warner Bros. Pictures is quite the tease, and promises to deliver us a debut trailer December 15th, 2015.
That’s only four days, folks! Mark it in your diaries!
Warner Bros. have also stated that the debut trailer will feature ‘never-before-seen’ elements of J.K. Rowling’s world. Exciting stuff.
Fantastic Beasts takes place 70 years before Harry Potter’s day, and will follow the pursuits of magizoologist and author Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne), as he interacts with the magical community in New York city.
The film’s screenplay is an original work of J.K. Rowling’s, and boasts an all-star cast alongside Redmayne.
It’ll be interesting to see just what they reveal in the trailer, and if it’ll give us an indication of the feel the film will have.
It’s all up in the air, and we’ll have to wait it out for just a few more days before we can find out.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is due to hit theatres 18 November, 2016.
