[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]inal Fantasy fanatics, rejoice! A brand new trailer for Final Fantasy XV was released at Tokyo Game Show this week, and it is gorgeous!

Square Enix’s  trailer for the highly-anticipated installment shows off some incredible next-gen graphics that make it difficult to differentiate between cut-scenes and gameplay.

We’re also given a glimpse at some interesting new ways in which the game will be played. Players can navigate the new world of Final Fantasy XV on foot, or pile up into a pretty sweet convertible and road trip across the landscape.

The combat system looks to be different as well. Gone is the “turn-based” fighting style so familiar to core Final Fantasy games, and instead XV adopts a combat system more reminiscent of Square Enix’s ever-popular Kingdom Hearts games, in which the action takes place in real-time.

No release date for Final Fantasy XV has been announced, but a demo of the game is expected to be released some time in March to coincide with the release of Final Fantasy Type-0.
