Bethesda Softworks hit their limit to how many they could make!
[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]ven though Fallout 4 will not be released until November, Bethesda has already sold out of Fallout Pip-Boy Editions! Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks announced that they have reached the limit on how many Pip-Boy editions they could make. The game will not be released until November 10th, yet Pip-Boy Editions are already sold out from anywhere you can buy video games, including Amazon and Best Buy,! With so much time until the official release, why not make more?
“We’d go back to [the factories] and say ‘Demand for this is insane, we’ve got to make more.” Hines said. The manufacturers would alter other production runs to accommodate that but could do so only to a point. “[Their] final answer: ‘Sorry, this is as many as we can make.’ And we sold every single one of those that we could.”
The hype behind the Pip-Boy Edition is that Bethesda will launch a free app, allowing players to have in-game functions on their smartphone! The Pip-Boy Edition comes with a wrist case for their smartphone, allowing the ultimate Fallout gaming experience! The cost of Fallout 4: Pip-boy Edition cost $119.99 on all three platforms: PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The first run of pre-orders were sold out within a day after the announcement at E3! A week later, the second pre-order was announced and that pre-order also sold out within a day!
Fallout 4 will be released on November 10th!
