The Human Torch joining the Black Panther?! Not exactly, but one can imagine that tandem right?

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter watching the Black Panther make his debut in Captain America: Civil War, we have to wait two years to see him in action again. With that being said , we at least get to see what the cast will look like. One actor that will be joining the Black Panther cast is current Human Torch actor Michael B. Jordan.

Jordan’s role in this movie is currently unknown, but given the amount of roles that he has played early in his career, we can assume that he has a key role here. Jordan will be joining director Ryan Coogler from Marvel studios for the third time in his career. The other two movies were an indie movie called Fruitvale Station, which was released back in 2013. The other movie was the boxing movie Creed, which was successful in it’s release in 2015.

Coogler will also be writing the script alongside Joe Robert Cole. Chadwick Boseman will star as T’Challa, a warrior king in Wakanda, a fictional country that is rich in an unbreakable alloy called vibrianium, which is used on the Black Panther’s costume. Lupita Nyong’o is in negotiations with Marvel to star alongside Boseman.

This is Jordan’s second superhero movie, although we don’t know if he will the Black Panther’s ally or enemy here. I could see him in either role, but I would rather see him on the Black Panther’s team for this story. That being said, it would be interesting to see him in a villain role.

The Black Panther is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2018!
