After over a decade since the previous film, these bad boys are returning to the big screen!
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]f there is something that this decade has consistently brought us, it’s reboots and sequels of movies. Some have turned out to be successful, while others had poor results. But that’s the risk in extending a movie’s story into another. That being said, another one has been announced by one of it’s biggest stars. Will Smith announced that the franchise would make it’s third movie.
“I saw Martin [Lawrence] a few weeks ago,” Smith said during an interview with BBC Radio 1. “I haven’t seen him in about two years. We looked at each other. We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We’re definitely doing another one.”
Not sure how he felt another movie happening from a hug, unless it was already planned. Maybe that’s how he goes about his business, but I’m not one to judge Will Smith, considering he has had an amazing acting career.
Today, we have news that Joe Carnahan will be directing the movie after Michael Bay directed the first two movies. He took this to Twitter to confirm that he will be directing the movie.
