Season 14 will be the last for Sterling Archer and his colleagues at the dysfunctional intelligence agency (or whatever it is at this point in the story). The 14th and final season of Archer will debut on August 30th over on FXX and will hit the streaming juggernaut Hulu the following day.

Since its debut in 2009, Archer has been a major series in the adult animated comedy space and is without question, one of our favorite shows. The series has earned four Emmy Awards and ten total nominations but even at its lower points, the show still delivered excellent jokes with unparalleled comedic timing. But all things must come to an end eventually and it is Archer’s time.

When the last season debuts this August, it will debut with two episodes on FXX before continuing on over at Hulu to join all the prior seasons which are available for streaming now.

While the show comes to a close later this year, we hope it isn’t a goodbye for good for the franchise as it still has some massive potential in the form of spinoffs and even videogames but then again, maybe it’s just us that wants to see Archer turned into an action-adventure videogame a la Uncharted. Perhaps this is goodbye but that won’t stop us from binging the entire series at least once a year for the rest of our lives.

Thank you, Sterling Archer. You and the rest of your ragtag team will be missed.
