[dropcap size=small]M[/dropcap]iltos Yerolemou may not be a household name, but that could change after Star Wars fans leave the theaters after seeing J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, though Game of Thrones fans may already be familiar with the Greek actor as Syrio Forel.
“What do we say to death? ‘Not Today’.“
In Game of Thrones, Syrio Forel is Arya Stark’s sword fighting instructor. Though a small role, Forel is easily one of the most recognizable characters from the series.
Episode VII has continued filming in Pinewood Studios after a short hiatus after actor Harrison Ford was injured on set. At this time, there has been no official announcement on Yerolemou’s role, as they are really trying to be tight-lipped about the plot details. Miltos Yerolemou joins fellow Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, who portrays Brienne of Tarth in the series, whose role is also being kept secret. With what little we know thus far, one thing is for sure, Syrio Forel would make one badass Jedi. Or Sith? Guess we will just have to wait and see.
Star Wars Episode VII stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hammil, Adam Driver, and Lupita Nyong’o. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.
