THIS. IS. SPARTA!
In just ten days the Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, will begin and with its arrival, many exciting new games are to be announced. As is common, many companies are capitalizing on the hype by releasing teasing clips of their soon to be revealed games and Ubisoft did just that. The company tweeted a five-second clip and confirmed what the rumors said to be true, that the next Assassin’s Creed game will take place in Ancient Greece.

Following the troubles and negative feedback that took place when Assassin’s Creed: Unity was released, Ubisoft decided to start releasing their highly anticipated games every other year as opposed to every year to ensure that their games were devoid of issues and would satisfy the expectations of fans. Considering that Assassin’s Creed: Origins was very well received by fans and critics alike, it wouldn’t hurt to assume that Odyssey isn’t expected to be released until sometime in 2019. However, there is the off chance that Ubisoft could break away from the trend and possibly have worked out the kinks so they can go back to releasing new games every year. Either way, we’re just excited to see the reveal of a new chapter in the Assassin’s Creed universe.
