Rumors of a Last of Us sequel video game have began to arise after a recent interview with voice actor Nolan North.
Nolan North, voice actor of Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4, admitted at MetroCon that there would be a sequel to The Last of Us. When asked about any projects that were being worked on at Naught Dog, North claimed that Uncharted 4 would be the final “Uncharted” project, but that he “[knew] they [were] were doing The Last of Us 2.”
Although this may be true, Troy Baker, voice of the protagonist in The Last of Us, has claimed recently that he has no knowledge of a sequel being made. The Last of Us came out for the Playstation 3 in June 2013, and a sequel had formerly been talked about in December of 2014. There were confirmed prototypes being made for the sequel game, but nothing has been released to date. Creative Director, Neil Druckmann has said previously that there was a 50/50 shot of their being a sequel game, so Last of Us fans will just have to wait and see.
