In part due to the coronavirus pandemic production on the untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been delayed for some time now. Thankfully, it appears production will begin as soon as January of 2021.

According to a listing from the Film & Television Industry Alliance, the show will begin shooting on January 4 with locations in Boston and London. The series will also be using The Volume, the same technology used in The Mandalorian, as a means to give viewers the impression the show takes place on Tatooine where Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first met.

There are little to no details about the show’s plot but rumors circling around the internet claim we’ll see Darth Vader and flashbacks to the Clone Wars.

Fingers crossed it’s true!

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
