This week we have two spooky trailers and a Batman trailer that is better than Batman v Superman in its entirety.
The Conjuring 2
James Wan is back at it again with the horror movies! The Conjuring 2 follows demonologists Ed and Lorriane Warren, who appeared in the first film of the series. This time, they are traveling across the pond to investigate a poltergeist haunting in Enfield, London. If you enjoy spooky, scary, demonic possession, then this is the film for you.
The Conjuring 2 stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Simon McBurney, Franka Potente, Frances O’Connor, and David Thewlis and hits theaters June 10th.
Lights Out
Lights Out is based on the short film of the same name, where when a woman turns out the lights in her apartment, an evil spirit appears. So they took that idea and scaled it up a bit. The film centers around Rebecca and her younger brother, Martin, who both see this mysterious entity whenever they turn out the lights.
If you’re afraid of the dark, good luck with this one.
Lights Out stars Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman, and Alexander DiPersia and appears in theaters July 22nd.
The LEGO Batman Movie
The LEGO Batman Movie realized that one trailer was not enough for such a tremendous film, so they put out another one. The trailer involves Batman speaking to his parents, then proceeding to kick Alfred into a piano. Alfred goes over the long list of Batman appearances including “that weird one in 1966.” Regardless, the two trailers are great and hopefully the movie will be even better.
The LEGO Batman Movie stars the voices of Will Arnett, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Zach Galifianakis, and Mariah Carey and hits theaters February 10th, 2017.
