Overkill’s The Walking Dead gets Robert Kirkman’s blessing.

The teaser, which is roughly three and a half minutes long, gets dark and dirty very quickly. After a cut scene involving a little girl and a man hiding in a store, the trailer shifts to a quick message from Robert Kirkman, who is best known for creating The Walking Dead comic book series. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t include any gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead. There are several rumors surrounding what kind of game The Walking Dead will be and the type of play-style it will follow. The most popular theory is that Overkill will have The Walking Dead follow in the footsteps of Leaf 4 Dead. This seems to be a very likely theory and the video surely has some Life 4 Dead characteristics.
