Ready your holsters and hold onto your hats, because Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming!
[dropcap size=small]H[/dropcap]owdy there partner! Unless you’ve been under a rock in the hot Mohave Desert this week, then you’ll have no doubt heard that Rockstar Games sent everyone into frenzy when they changed their company logo to a familiar shade of red on Twitter.
The teasing only continued thanks to another picture posted a day after, which showed off cowboy figures silhouetted in front of a blood red sun, and mountainous backdrop.
Everyone knew it could only mean one thing – another Red Dead Redemption game had to be on the horizon.
Rockstar have now officially confirmed Red Dead Redemption 2 is happening, along with the news that it will be released in Fall 2017. Yee-haw!

Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.
Brand new online multiplayer experience? Yes please.
The official site for the new game noticeably makes no mention of PC among its platform release line-up, but it has not yet been confirmed if it will definitely be absent from the platform. The previous Read Dead games were console only, but for the sake of PC gamers everywhere, let’s hope this is not the case!

Red Dead Redemption was one of the most epic releases of 2010, so the thought of a next-gen Red Dead title with a ‘vast and atmospheric world’ is just too exciting to handle!
It won’t be long before we get our first look at the new game, as the first trailer is set to be unveiled this week at 11AM ET, October 20th!
