Fans who beat Resident Evil Village will recall the ending which sees Chris Redfield at odds with the BSAA who is using zombie bioweapons as field soldiers, something that Chris takes issue with. The next game, which has been rumored to adopt the name “Apocalypse”, is said to feature Chris traversing across Europe, taking on the BSAA with a female companion’s help (Jill?). The game may see the demise of a beloved character with the possibility of Chris retiring by the story’s end with Rose possibly picking up the mantle as the next major franchise lead.
