New ‘Batman v Superman’ Trailer Released

It’s the Son of Krypton versus the Bat of Gotham in this newly released trailer.

[dropcap size=small]C[/dropcap]omic book fans everywhere are rejoicing right now. First we get an all new Captain America: Civil War trailer and then now an all new Batman v Superman trailer.

I, for one, can not contain my excitement.

The trailer looks amazing. The conversations between Bruce and Clark are tension filled and it seems they are just a powder keg ready to explode. Lex Luthor looks absolutely insane, I expect to see some great acting from Jesse Eisenberg. And for all those who say that Luthor seems too goofy in the trailer, if you were an insane criminal mastermind, would you act like in person? Exactly.

The trailer also includes a massive villain reveal in Doomsday. I mean I think it is Doomsday but I do not believe he ever got heat vision but we can roll with it. It seems like Luthor takes the body of the dead General Zod and does some freaky science stuff to it and wa-lah, one supervillain ready to go. A little upsetting that he was revealed in the trailer and not saved for the movie but what can you do.

The line delivery in the trailer is perfect. I think everyone had a collective fanboy moment when Bruce said, “Just have a bad history with freaks dressed like clowns.” It is interesting to see that there is already an established universe going into the movie and it will be exciting to see what exactly Zack Snyder has in store for us.

I think it is safe to say that the hype train has officially left the station.

And as a parting gift, the Holy Trinity of DC looking as fabulous as ever.
