“Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night” introduces us to Shibuya’s late-night streets, where four young women—illustrator Mahiru Kozuki, former idol Kano Yamanouchi, Vtuber Kiui Watase, and composer Mei Kim Anouk Takanashi—come together to form an anonymous artist collective known as JELEE. Their journey of self-discovery and collective empowerment resonates with themes of identity and the desire to shine, even when feeling slightly disconnected from the world around them.

Crafted by Doga Kobo, the studio behind the global smash hit “Oshi no Ko,” “Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night” boasts animation that is sure to captivate audiences.
