Disney is undergoing a massive increase to remaking everyone’s childhood favorites in live-action films. However, fans have wondered this question: “Will it be a musical?”.
Despite various answers, Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin, as able to provide us with a simple, straightforward statement in regards to this question.
I think it’d be tough not to make it a musical. It’s too early, because I’ve really just immersed myself into that project. So, I’m still looking for cast members, we still haven’t found exactly which direction we are going in. I’m confident at some stage, it will reveal itself to me.
Ritchie is currently working on King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, so making comments on Aladdin seems a tad bit too far out in the future for fans to expect its release, but it’s definitely something we all can hope for.
Aladdin is not set for a production schedule or release date just yet so currently there isn’t much information for. Though the general public to work off of. Information about Will Smith taking on a role as Genie has also surface online, which can be read about here.
