IT’S HAPPENING. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix are heading to the PS4.
Both titles are HD collections initially released for the PS3. 1.5 includes KH1 Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, and HD remastered cinematics of 358/2 Days. 2.5 includes KH2 Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and remastered cinematics of Re:coded.
This collection for PS4 will combine both PS3 games, making for a SIX title collection on ONE disc.
It was also confirmed on the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account that each game in the collection will run at 60 FPS, compared to 30, what they ran at on PS2 and PS3. As KH is an action RPG series where fluid combat is key, this is huge. The games could potentially run much smoother, or even play completely different from before.
But best of all, NOW THERE ARE NO EXCUSES. PLAY BIRTH BY SLEEP.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix hits PS4 on March 28, 2017 in North America, and March 31, 2017 in Europe.
