The anime re-imagines that cast of Attack on Titan if they were in middle school.
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t would seem that Attack on Titan is so popular that idea of putting the original cast from the post-apocalyptic anime into middle school is something fans would like to see. The anime is based on Saki Nakagawa’s comedy-spin-off manga. You can watch a trailer for the anime below with a translation of the trailer here.
Attack on Titan: Junior High will follow the original characters of Attack on Titan as the goof off and take on titans as well. The original cast members from Attack on Titan will be reprising their roles for the anime and according to reports they support the idea of a comedy spin-off as well. Yoshihide Ibata, the episode director for Kill la Kill, will be directing the anime.
Attack on Titan: Junior High will air this October 3rd in Japan.
