[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap] multiplayer mod for Just Cause 3 was recently given a beta release by fan collective Nanos Team. They currently have the 1.0 release of the mod scheduled to released in the next few months.
Even though Avalanche Studios, the developer of Just Cause, had hired the lead architect of the highly successful Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod, Cameron Foote, for it’s team there were no plans for a multiplayer mode. Nanos Team was able to step up to the plate to continue to create a multiplayer mode for Just Cause 3. Below is a trailer for the mod.
On the Nanos Team website they released a statement about the mod.
“Our modification opens the door to incredible multiplayer possibilities including racing, deathmatch, skydiving, roleplaying or freeroam. But it doesn’t have to stop there: Thanks to our powerful scripting API server owners can easily create game modes on their own.”
You can download the mod here. A full release of the mod is currently scheduled to occur in the next few months.
