Professor X probably won’t return in Fox’s New Mutants. According to The Hollywood Reporter writer Borys Kit, it’s very unlikely for James McAvoy to return in the upcoming movie, which Kit recently revealed will star Maisie Williams and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Kit posted on Twitter to shoot down some rumors about the film, saying that sources have told him that McAvoy is not in the movie.
The New Mutants include Williams as Rahne SinClaire (Wolfbane), and Taylor-Joy as Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina (Magik)
