Two New X-Men Movie 2018 Release Dates Announced
Earlier today 20th, Century Fox revealed the release date of Deadpool 2. The release date is set for June 1st, 2018. Information on Deadpool 2 release date, casting, etc. can be found here. In addition to the release date being announced, we also received information on two brand new X-Men films. The films are: “New Mutants” – an X-Men spin-off and X-Men: Dark Phoenix – the follow-up of the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse. X-Men: Dark Phoenix will open in theaters on November 2, 2018, which follows the April release of New Mutants on April 13, 2018, and June release of Deadpool 2. Simon Kinberg, writer/producer of X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse as well as the producer of Deadpool and X-Men: First Class, was being eyed to direct the next main X-Men movie.

Despite Fox not yet confirming if Kinberg will be directing X-Men: Dark Phoenix, however with the release date finally being announced, we can come to the conclusion/assumption that he shall be the one directing the film. Kinberg has been excited to finally begin on the production of this film, just as much fans are for the films release. 2018 is definitely going to be a year of super powered action, and these two films are definitely going to be ones to have the audience on the edge of their seats.
