[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]aughty Dog’s smash-hit action survival title The Last of Us may be getting a sequel, according to the professional resume of former Naughty Dog lead character artist Michael Knowland.
The speculation began when it was noticed that according to Knowland’s LinkedIn profile, he had done work for Naughty Dog earlier this year prototyping designs for head sculpts on The Last of Us 2.
According to his resume, Knowland joined Naughty Dog in January of 2011, and worked on The Last of Us as well as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He is currently a senior character artist working on Just Cause 3 at Avalanche Studios.
Last February, The Last of Us creative director Neil Druckmann said in a Reddit AMA that there was a “50/50” possibility of a sequel. Naughty Dog has since confirmed it is working on two “brand-new experiences”- one of those being Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, due out in 2015. Could The Last of Us 2 be the other of those two titles?
