Exciting news is in the air for anime enthusiasts as HIDIVE, the renowned streaming service under AMC Networks, has just announced its acquisition of the eagerly awaited romance series “Whisper Me a Love Song,” set to premiere in April as an exclusive simulcast during its Spring 2024 lineup. Crafted by Eku Takeshima, this series originates from the beloved manga with an impressive MyAnimeList (MAL) score of 8.19 out of 10.

The story follows musician Yori Asanagi, who receives what seems like a love confession from freshman Himari Kino after performing at her school’s opening ceremony. Undeterred, Yori is determined to win Himari’s heart, not just with her music but with her genuine affection. Will their love melody find harmony, or will it drift out of tune?
“Whisper Me a Love Song” originates from the pages of Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime, debuting on February 18, 2019, and spanning eight volumes to date. The English edition is published by Kodansha Comics.
