Here’s a List of 10 Weird Celebrity Lookalikes

by

No Top 10 Section is complete without strange, weird, and unusual lookalikes of some of the most recognizable names in the entertainment business.

Recognizing celebrities is always a little bit weird, because we might have seen them anywhere. For instance, go through old re-runs of E.R. and you might have an “Oh, my god!” moment when you realize Dr. Doug Ross (George Clooney) is assisting a vagrant, teenage Kirsten Dunst. Or maybe you’re one of the 15 people in the world who recognized Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul from his absurd old game show videos on YouTube.

But sometimes when we think we recognize a celebrity, it’s because they really look like a different celebrity. Or at least, sometimes we just think of fun lookalikes! At any rate, here are 10 you may not have thought of.

  1. Margot Robbie & Jaime Pressly

Margot Robbie may be the latest “it” girl in Hollywood, and her jaw-dropping breakthrough in The Wolf Of Wall Street had guys everywhere thinking she’s the most beautiful actress alive. But if you thought you’d seen her face before, just look here—she’s like a younger twin of Jaime Pressly.

  1. Carey Mulligan & Michelle Williams

At first, I thought it was because they both wear their hair short. But then I looked closer, and they definitely have almost the same face. And both are immensely talented. These two are just lucky.

  1. Jessica Alba & Minka Kelly

I spent about a season of Friday Night Lights wondering why I wasn’t seeing Jessica Alba’s name in the opening credits, assuming I was watching a young Alba in action. As it turns out it was Minka Kelly, and these two can really look alike depending on how they do themselves up. Oddly enough, they’ve even collaborated on the same look at a gala before.

  1. Natalie Portman & Elsa Pataky

You know Natalie Portman, and if you don’t know the name Elsa Pataky, she’s probably best known as Elena from the Fast & Furious series—the foxy Brazilian cop The Rock kind of falls for. But she’s also Chris Hemsworth’s wife, and here’s a fun fact about how much she looks like Natalie Portman: Portman revealed that Pataky actually stood in for a kissing scene with Hemsworth in Thor: The Dark World, and audiences were none the wiser!

  1. Sarah Hyland & Mila Kunis

It takes a lot to look like Mila Kunis. Not only is she uncommonly beautiful, but she’s also particularly unique-looking even among celebrity actresses. But Modern Family starlet Sarah Hyland comes closer than anyone else, to the point that the two could be mistaken at a glance. My theory: it’s the eyes.

  1. Ben Kingsley & Howie Mandel

You may or may not know Howie Mandel by name, but he’s the man largely responsible for turning Deal Or No Deal into a sensation. After taking off in the States, the game show is now played in one form or another in countries all over the world, and this site even has some casino games devoted to the Deal Or No Deal format. But even if Mandel hosted a game show that launched innumerable spinoffs and even casino gaming adaptations, the most interesting thing about him might be his resemblance to a slightly more clean-cut Ben Kingsley. And no, it’s not because they’re both bald!

  1. Tom Hardy & Logan Marshall-Green

This one is just scary. Look it up.

  1. Henry Cavill & Alistair Cook

This is another one that only involves one actor, but the resemblance is pretty striking. Cook is actually an English cricket star, very well known in sports circles in Europe, and probably as much a Superman to some fans as the actual Man Of Steel.

  1. Brad Pitt & Robert Redford

A lot of people forget that these two men have actually starred together. But either way, the idea that Pitt looks like a young Redford is one of the most popular lookalike theories out there.

  1. Joseph Gordon Levitt & Heath Ledger

It’s shocking that with all the talk of whether or not Ledger would be replaced as the Joker after his tragic death, and with all the rumors about Levitt’s role in The Dark Knight Rises, no one speculated that Levitt might actually step in for Ledger. Of course he didn’t end up doing so, but these two—they have been linked since their respective explosions into celebrity status in 10 Things I Hate About You—had the same face.
